| Authority | Who is behind it? What is their access, expertise, and track record? |
| Accuracy | Can it be corroborated? Is it internally consistent and evidence-backed? |
| Purpose | Why does it exist — to inform, or to persuade/deceive? Who benefits from belief? |
Authority + track record → source RELIABILITY (A–F). Accuracy + corroboration + Purpose → information CREDIBILITY (1–6). The two axes stay independent: a reliable source can carry inaccurate information, and vice-versa.
